Given the task to create a German style beer and the ultimatum that no help would be provided by Head Brewer, Jayne, the sales and brewing team have collaborated to create an Altbier for this year’s Oktoberfest festivities.

This Dusseldorf style Altbier owes its malt driven palate to a high proportion of Munich and Caramel malts, which give the beer a distinct toasty character and dry nuttiness. Balanced solely with the German noble hop Spalt, the beer displays a firm bitterness and a crisp, lager like finish as a result of the unique cool fermenting ale strain.
